The forecast through October indicates that water deficits will downgrade in Mexico but persist from Chihuahua into Durango and along the Coatzacoalcos and Papaloapan Rivers in Veracruz. Areas of surplus include the Yucatan and pockets in Central America.

The forecast through August indicates that water conditions will normalize in much of Mexico though intense surpluses will persist in northeastern Sonora and moderate deficits will emerge in Baja. Surpluses are forecast in Central America.

The forecast through July indicates that water anomalies will shrink considerably throughout the region but intense deficits will persist in Chihuahua, Mexico and surpluses will persist in Sonora.  Surpluses are also forecast in pockets of Central America.
